a little bit about the owner…

Kara was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and later relocated to the DC metro area. Kara is also a brand new mama to a babygirl named Kami. Kara has always had a passion for beauty. In pursuit of her dreams she enrolled in The Salon Professional Academy in Washington, D.C. and received her esthetician license. Six months later, Nude Wax Studio was no longer a vision but a reality.

Kara prides herself on the services she provides her clients.  Each client receives individualized attention to their needs, ensuring they leave Nude Wax Studio with a new sense of confidence.
